The scenery is absolutely amazing. The wagon rides are a highly recommended experience, to see what life really is like in the high country of Mid Canterbury on a large station and how it was for the very early settlers in this area.
You will definitely want to take a camera and walking shoes is the most practical footwear.

Unique experience in incredible surroundings. Our family went on a wagon ride pulled by 6 Clydesdale horses. The drive out here is quite long, and much of it on unsealed roads, but the scenery is jaw-dropping before you even get to the station. You also need to be aware that the Station is first and foremost a working farm - and not just any farm, an extremely isolated huge high-country station.
