Unfortunately they were sold out of the duck fat potatoes that went with the Lemon Thyme Chicken so we had the mashed potatoes.

We were all pleased with our meals. The accompanying bread sauce that was with the Lemon Thyme Chicken dishes were delicious, and the chicken had a lovely flavour and was cooked beautifully. Friendly staff, fast service and nice decor. The dishes are a bit pricey, so it was good to have the Grab One voucher. We had the petite desserts which were very nice. There is a separate menu to the main one that changes weekly. Food isn't on the cheap side but is outstanding. Nice atmosphere and always plenty of patrons.

We took my Mother there for her Birthday and the staff were great, attentive and helpful. Took our drinks orders first off which is just what we needed. Their menu's need up dating and refreshing as I don't enjoy been given menus that have food stains on them from prior visitors.

Overall not the best food experience compared to prior visits and should have gone to Simmer in Churton Park. We went up to Kandallah for a quiet family lunch with a daughter and son-in-law.

It was a really good meal with a very nice drink to go with it. Not at all expensive. We sat inside as it was a hot day and there was a pleasant breeze going through.
