The Stone Store is the 'must see' of Kerikeri and worth a visit but also the Rainbow Falls are worth the 90 minute walk as they are spectacular. The Falls have a great swimming hole at their base for a refreshing dip before the walk back. Kerikeri Township has a god range of cafes and restaurants - the motel we stayed at had great recommendations so it's worth asking locals where to eat out.
The Packhouse Market is a mixture of permanent stalls and temporary stalls that operate on a Saturday and well worth a visit.

It is an eclectic mix of produce, bakeries, meat and fish, cafes and crafts. Friendly - sunny - loving. Locals are small town but do their best to accommodate your every need and wish. Variety of local cultures is most appreciated too. Easy place to locate yourself to explore the upper parts of NZ. Vineyards too! The Saturday market is amazing! Swimming at Charlie's Rock only 4km out of town was a real highlight for our group - just a short walk to get to a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole with big rocks to jump off!

Pahia and helicopter trips over the Bay of Islands also need plenty of time. There's lots more to do in this area although Cape Reinga is a little far km for a day trip. One of the best stays we had during our trip through New Zealand.
The apartments are super clean and new. Every room is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you need. The bedroom offers a direct view to the waterfront and the bed is super comfortable. The neighbourhood is very quiet.

Kerikeri is only a short drive away and has plenty of shops and restaurants. Also Paihia is close. Host is super friendly and very helpful. We can highly recommend staying at Noya and would definitely stay there again. Lovely property, recently refurbished with modern comfortble furnishings.
