I can understand charging expensive rates when full and demand exceeds supply allowing for dynamic pricing principles and revenue yielding to be applied but demand was very low judging by the many vacant sites. On top of that the ablution facilities are aged and ….

As you mentioned in your feedback, the reason for the two different rates is because we work on dynamic pricing, which is dependent on our occupancy levels. Our base rates are for a minimum of two people. This is our high season period therefore the rates are reflecting this time of the year. We guarantee you the best lowest available rate if you book in advance. We are not just a campsite.
Unfortunately, you will not find this type of level of services with Freedom Camping. We are aware that our communal facilities are tired and old and this is why they will be demolished in April to make way for a new re-build. We booked 4 motel units and 1 Villa. The motel units were a little bit tired and could do with updating but they were clean and tidy and had everything we needed.
