I had been charged for the entire weekend, which as I had told your staff on at least 3 occasions was a voucher from our friends for our engagement. I went back in to the man in Reception and questioned it when again I was greeted by " You never gave me the voucher" At this point I was so fed up and had so much hassle from start to finish.
I said "Yes I did. I gave it over the phone and my partner also physically handed it to you when we checked in". He said " I don't have any record of it" He then went to his book to check the bookings and said "Oh yes sorry, Audrey Barrett , you do have a voucher". We just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible and left so frustrated, stressed and disappointed.

We had been looking forward to it and were considering it to be our wedding venue which would have resulted in a lot of business for you and also a lot of visitors from Ireland and the UK as that is where we are originally from. As you can imagine, our trust in Castaways ability to deliver a wedding is non existant.
If there were so many issues for a simple weekend for 2 people, I can't imagine how you would ever cope with a wedding. I'm so disaapointed that I had to write this. We stayed in one of the studio units which at first looked small, but in fact was very well appointed and designed, very comfortable and clean. Our family love the wilderness of the west coast and as kids we grew up lodging, fishing and exploring the Whatipu Wilderness.
As adults its such a treat to have the finer things in live such as great food, comfortable cosy accommodation and excellent service along with the views we have grown to adore, the wild ruggedness of Aucklands west coast.
