Close to pak n save. No noisy traffic sounds. Will take the whole family as is very ''family'approved. We were a little late arriving and the Security man helped us get registered with no problems. Only at Motel for two nights but no problem. Will certainly use again when in Auckland. Location was excellent for what we were going to Auckland for, however the cabin was very basic and would not recommend for a business traveller, the description did not highlight that there were shared facilities for what we had booked.
It was very noisy with people coming and going all through the night and the walls were paper thin making it hard to sleep. Holiday Park was OK Reception pleasant but not overly friendly. Channel selection minimal. Location of Holiday Park is handy to motorway. We stayed for one week and had opted for the larger studio unit. It was more than adequate for what we required, clean, quiet, roomy enough for the 4 of us. Value for money when compared to the over rated and overpriced alternatives to be found in Auckland.
Basically a caravan or motor traveller park, but with some motel type cabins which are pretty small. No towels provided, or tea and coffee making supplies. Nearest cafe for breakfast is 15 minutes walk down the road. Communal bathrooms were clean, but the place wasnt crowded when I was there.
A dripping tap in my room kept me awake, and the sheets were threadbare. You have to make your own bed using the sheets provided. Not really what I was expecting and I won't be going back there looking for hotel style accomodation. Very helpful and pleasant staff to deal with. Thank you would definitely use again. Was a nice stay. Bbq area need maintenance. Verandah outside cabin is old needs to be replaced, trees need to be trimmed, pool water didn't look fresh or clean and spa water looked old and didn't like the staff parking right outside our cabin at night lights shine in when sleeping and take up all the parking space needs a lot of improvement.
Sheets and blankets are old, mattresses are like hospital mattresses very unhappy.

Shower what's awesome very strong and hot, rooms need to be freshed up once and a while. Everything in the camping grounds seem to old, need a hole make over. Not recommended for travelers with family and children. The place is rather isolated from the busy area of Auckland.

It is good for backpackers tho. Did not service our motel in the four nights that we stay. Only twice they gave us clean towels Good location. Basic motel The room was filthy and the linen smells. We paid extra per night to upgrade for 2 nites given the impression that it would be better but found the room, carpets and linen was filthy.
Out feet were black walking on the carpet within 5 mins. Complained to the reception and he only stated that they are too busy at the moment to upgrade the rooms. We both came home today with bites all over our body.
The outer appearance was impressive with their paintwork but the inside rooms was atrocious. I will not recommend anyone to stay there. It's a shame that it can be a 4 star place if properly managed with upgrade but it is only a 2 star motel and holiday park. What a great place! Lovely friendly staff and awesome facilities. Clean showers and toilets. Loved it and would stay again :. New Zealand Hotels.
