It was a fabulous experience and up there with the best I have visited in Sydney and London. Great to be able to visit two world class attractions in a day and still be back in Auckland for dinner!

Great fun! I'm sorry to say that two grandparents and a 13 year old extremely clever kid were not up to the task and the plane did indeed blow up. Room, comfortable, big and clean. Hosts, nice and attentive, and what a fantastic breakfast. Very clean and centrally located motel. Friendly owners and huge rooms. Worth a stay when you are in Matamata. It was like having our own little apartment in New Zealand. It felt very comfortable and homey.
