We loved being able to hold and feed the birds. The manager was really knowledgeable and told us interesting info about the birds. Definitely go if you're in Kerikeri or Paihia particularly if you have kids. This attraction is really God for young kids and will keep them enthralled and well occupied. Most of the birds are extremely game and kids are able to strike and per them, whilst others are marked not to touch.
Staff are very good and encourage small children to get to know the birds.
