We have a monthly gathering in the garden bar if nice, or upstairs if weather is not too good. Music and Arts Academy is a creative arts program. We started as a total beginners ukulele group and have progressed from there. We are a monthly jam for waikato based ukulele players. We aim to build community well being through music participation and welcome players of all ages and abilities. Alice plays in nine-member ukulele group, the Strumbles, and is also a Waikato Ukejam organiser. Alice has been a musician since the age of six, when her mother taught her ukulele.
